Question:

On three different bass hunts I started off with a rattle trap;used bass fishing boat dealers On these three times right when I threw it out Wam! would get a hit right away. I wasn’t able to land any however I did get one with in 5′ of the boat and it looked like it might have been a 5 lber which would have been the biggest one that I ever hooked. On all three times after the first hit I wouldn’t get anything at all.used bass fishing boat dealers  So the question: Could  they get  spooked by the “rattling” after a while?
