Largemouth Bass Virus???largemouth bass clip art free
Question:
You know that kind of makes sense. largemouth bass clip art free Last year we had millions of fish killed by something. 75% were shad, the rest was a mix of bass, catfish, walleye, and carp. The EPA said it was caused by heat stress. But it was shocking coming around the bend in the lake during the tournament launch and seeing the whole lake from shore to shore for about a mile and half of nothing but dead fish. The lake is about 3/16-1/2 half mile wide at that point and it shined from the sun light reflecting off the scales of all the dead fish. I immediately called the local police department on my cell phone and the EPA came out immediately. We continued to fish but before the tournament was over, the local police called me back on my cell phone to tell me what the EPA told them.largemouth bass clip art free I didn’t buy the story the EPA was telling, but between the fishing pressure and the heat maybe that could have done it. There is three to four tournaments a week on the lake and 100’s to of sport anglers on it daily. I don’t know, but I hope I never see anything like that ever again in my life time.
Response:
Could it be that their (the bass) resistance level is low as a result of stress from so much fishing pressure.largemouth bass clip art free In my aquarium, any time I have to handle the fish for whatever reason, I always treat for ich. It too is usually present in the water, but can only take hold if a fish has been stressed. If it can happen in a controlled environment, wouldn’t it follow that in the wild it could occur as well. I know that wild fish are harder to stress than raised fish, but if enough pressure were applied?largemouth bass clip art free, hadn’t heard about the Santee Cooper system.
